The government’s international business arm UK Trade and Investment (UKTI) has unveiled a new scheme, The Sirius Programme, which seeks to enable talented graduates and students from across the world to relocate to the UK.

Announced at UKTI’s annual international Entrepreneurs’ Festival, the programme will provide young entrepreneurs who have “innovative start-up ideas” with a 12-month package which includes seed investment and a place in a leading business accelerator programme.

Chosen start-ups will also receive mentoring and logistical help to relocate to Britain in order to turn their “idea [in]to reality”.
