Hello [firstname],

Welcome to the BABC - Houston newsletter of upcoming events, articles, jobs and more from our membership.

Hopefully you all have invoices in hand for your 2014 membership. Remember, there are a couple of ways you can renew. Just log into your profile page and renew by credit card online. Or, use your invoice to send a check for payment. Renewals and first time members who pay on or before December 31, 2013 will be entered in a drawing for domestic travel vouchers generously provided by United Airlines.

BABC Houston, Houston Grampian Association, and Scottish Development will be supporting the St. Andrew's Day Celebration presented by the Houston Highland Games Association next week on 20 November, 6-8 pm at the Bull and Bear Tavern and Eatery.

The event is free and open to the public. Free appetizers and cash bar will be available. Entertainment will be provided by Hugh Morrison of Murder the Stout. A silent auction will be held to raise funds for HHGA's flagship event, the Houston Celtic Festival and Highland Games being held in April. HHGA is a BABC member and a 501 (c) 3 not for profit organization. Come out and support their efforts. It's great networking and Great Craic! RSVP's requested here.

We only have two sponsor opportunities opening left for the Oilfield Cook-Off 1 May in advance of the Offshore Technology Conference. For $1,500, forty individuals can enjoy the hospitality of 30 year old BBQ cook-off at the Sam Houston Race Park. You'll have signage at the tent entrance, opportunity for pop-up place inside the tent. Your guests will enjoy BBQ, open bar, live entertainment and dancing and some really good target market networking. Sign up today!
